Islands West 375 gram Poultry Seasoning is aromatic and has a slightly astringent, warm and bitter taste. It contains a mix thyme, sage, savory, rosemary and black pepper. It is designed to impart a characteristic flavour with a sage overtone. Although it used as a seasoning rub to complement poultry, it can also be used in stuffings, meatloaf, hamburgers, meat pies and salmon dishes.
Spice Up Your Life Usage Tips:
- Use 1/2 to 2 tsp. to 4 cups bread cubes for stuffing for poultry, veal, lamb or pork.
- Add to chicken, casseroles, barbecue sauce, meat loaf and herb bread.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon to herb marinade for 1 pound chicken or pork, 4 servings potato soup or rice and sausage stuffing.
